There are literally 1000’s of stores in Barcelona. Obviously there are inordinate guide books on where to shop in Barcelona and this isn’t an attempt to have you not use them if shopping is your recreation.
This is just a casual observation on our experiences:
FASHION INDUSTRY IN BARCELONA
There are 100’s of bespoke ladies and menswear shops that create their own fashions. If its clothes you want, make certain you explore all the small streets and lanes and you will not be disappointed. These far from mainstream stores are a classic example of the entrepreneurial spirit of the fashion industry in Barcelona and well worth seeking out.
MADE IN BCN LADIES SHOES
The same goes for ladies shoes: you will note during your exploratory walks that there are a number of made in Barcelona ballet flats shoe outlets. Whilst not the cheapest shoes in town, they are extraordinarily comfortable and feel like slippers to wear. Also it is worth waiting for their sales when they are 3 for the price of 2!
